The release of the EuroLinux 8.6 distribution has taken place, prepared by rebuilding the source texts of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.6 distribution packages and fully binary compatible with it. Installation images have been prepared for download, sized 11 GB (appstream) and 1.6 GB. This distribution can also be used to replace the CentOS 8 branch, whose support ended in late 2021.
EuroLinux builds are available through both paid subscriptions and for free. The builds provided under the paid subscription and for free are identical, created simultaneously, include the full set of system capabilities, and allow for updates. The differences with the paid subscription are limited to providing technical support services, access to errata files, and the ability to use additional packages that include tools for load balancing, high availability, and creating reliable storage.
