A new version of the Radix cross Linux 1.9.300 distribution is now available, built using the proprietary Radix.pro build system, which simplifies the creation of distributions for embedded systems. The distribution builds are available for devices based on ARM/ARM64, MIPS, and x86/x86_64 architectures. The boot images, prepared according to the instructions in the Platform Download section, contain a local package repository, so the system installation does not require an Internet connection. The build system code is distributed under the MIT license.
Version 1.9.300 is notable for including packages with the MATE 1.27.3 desktop environment. A complete list of packages can be found on the FTP server in the directory corresponding to the target device name in a file with the extension '.pkglist'. For example, the intel-pc64.pkglist file contains a list of packages available for installation on typical x86_64 machines.
