On March 20, a new version of DXVK 1.6 was released.
DXVK is a Vulkan-based layer for DirectX 9/10/11 to run 3D applications under Wine.
Changes and improvements:
- The d3d10.dll and d3d10_1.dll libraries for D3D10 are no longer installed by default, as the d3d10core.dll and d3d11.dll libraries are sufficient to support D3D10; this allows the use of the D3D10 effects framework implemented by Wine.
- Minor performance improvements for D3D9.
- Possible fix for crashes when capturing a snapshot with apitrace.
- Fixed crashes in Source 2 engine games using the D3D9 renderer.
- Correction of duplicated code for display mode changes.
- Fixed video display issues instead of green screen in some games.
- Compatibility bug fixes for certain games.
