The release of the SeaMonkey 2.53.23 internet applications suite has been published, combining a web browser, email client, NNTP conference client, news feed aggregation system (RSS/Atom), and the WYSIWYG HTML page editor Composer into one product. It offers pre-installed add-ons such as the IRC client ChatZilla, the web developers' toolkit DOM Inspector, and the calendar-scheduler Lightning. The new release includes fixes and changes from the current Firefox codebase (SeaMonkey 2.53 is based on the Firefox 60.8 browser engine with the porting of security-related fixes and some improvements from the current branches of Firefox).
Among the changes in the new version: in the IRC client ChatZilla, when configuring network parameters in plural (e.g., 1 network, 2 networks, 5 networks), the PluralForm library has been implemented. Service names in dataman.js have been updated. CSS issues have been resolved.
