Release of Integrated Internet Applications Suite SeaMonkey 2.53.4

Took place release of the internet application suite SeaMonkey 2.53.4, which combines a web browser, email client, news feed aggregation system (RSS/Atom), and WYSIWYG HTML page editor Composer within a single product. The pre-installed add-ons include the IRC client Chatzilla, developer tools DOM Inspector, and the calendar-planner Lightning. In this new release have been carried over fixes and changes from the current codebase of Firefox (SeaMonkey 2.53 is based on the Firefox 60 browser engine with backported security fixes and some improvements from current Firefox branches). Official release Firefox 81 is expected this evening.

Among the changes:

• The NSS library has been updated to release 3.53.1.
• Support for the specification has been transferred to the SpiderMonkey engine Unicode 11.
• The bundled Twemoji Mozilla font has been updated to support new emoji characters.
• The code for processing photos in the address book has been reworked.
• The following packages have been removed: old RSS feed handlers.
• Issues with the size and disappearance of the SEND/CANCEL buttons in the format selection dialog for sending emails have been resolved.
• The help page content has been updated.
• Vulnerability fixes have been transferred.
