Release of the integrated suite of internet applications SeaMonkey 2.53

Half a year since the last release has been published release of the internet application suite SeaMonkey 2.53.1, which combines a web browser, email client, RSS/Atom feed aggregator, and WYSIWYG HTML page editor Composer in one product (Chatzilla, DOM Inspector, and Lightning are no longer included in the basic package).

Key changes:

• The browser engine used in SeaMonkey has been updated up to Firefox 60.3 (the previous release used Firefox 52) with ported security fixes and some improvements from Firefox 72.
• The built-in email client is synchronized with Thunderbird 60.
• The Bookmarks manager has been renamed to Library and now also provides tools for browsing history.
• The download manager has been transitioned to a new API but retained its old appearance.
• A section has been added to the CSS Layout panel for inspecting CSS Grid containers.
• TLS 1.3 is enabled by default.
