Release of LMDE 6

The release of LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition) 6 Faye has taken place. LMDE is based on the Debian package base. LMDE is available only in the Cinnamon edition.

What's new:

• The foundation for LMDE was the package base Debian 12

• Linux Kernel 6.1;

• Cinnamon 5.8;

• Python has been updated to version 3.11.2;

• Systemd 252;

• GCC compiler has been updated to version 12.2;

• Rust compiler has been updated to version 1.63;

• OpenSource video driver Mesa 22.3.6;

• Proprietary nVidia driver 525.
