The release of media player VLC 3.0.21 has been published, which addresses a potential vulnerability (CVE not assigned) that could lead to data being written to memory outside the buffer when parsing malformed data in the MMS (Microsoft Media Server) handler. The vulnerability could theoretically be exploited when attempting to load content from malicious servers using the URL "mms://".
Other changes:
