The release of the nvtop 3.3.0 console utility has been published, designed for interactive monitoring of GPU and hardware accelerators. The utility allows for a clear tracking of load, memory usage, and changes in GPU frequency, as well as viewing processes that heavily load the GPU. It supports GPUs and accelerators from companies such as AMD, Apple (M1, M2), Google (TPU), Huawei (Ascend), Intel (i915/Xe), NVIDIA, Qualcomm (Adreno), Broadcom (VideoCore), Rockchip, MetaX, and Enflame. Monitoring multiple chips on one screen is possible.
The new version introduces support for AI accelerators Enflame GCU (General Computing Unit) and Rockchip NPU, as well as GPU MetaX. Enhanced support for Mali, AMD, and NVIDIA GPUs is included. Memory information in the summary report has been expanded. A combination of CTRL + L has been added for resetting the interface. A more visual load metric has been introduced, calculated as the percentage of current load versus maximum load. A power consumption graph for Intel Battlemage has been added.
