The release of the plwm 0.4 window manager has been published. It is developed in Prolog and supports a tiling window layout. The project aims to achieve high code quality and documentation, ease of configuration to suit personal preferences, and coverage of common user needs for tiled window managers. The project's code is distributed under the MIT license. SWI-Prolog tools can be used for execution.
At this stage, operation is only possible in environments with an X server, but the author does not rule out support for Wayland in the future. Key features include:
