The release of the GE-Proton 9-5 project has been published, in which enthusiasts are creating community-supported enhanced builds of the Proton package for running Windows applications, featuring a newer version of Wine, utilizing FFmpeg in FAudio, and including additional patches that resolve issues in various gaming applications.
In Proton GE 9-5, updates from the latest Wine 9 codebases, Proton 9, Steamclient, vkd3d-proton, dxvk-nvapi, and dxvk have been integrated. Video playback in WMP9 format has been improved. The package includes patches for TCP_KEEP support. Issues in the following games have been resolved:
