Release of the vector graphics editor Inkscape 1.0.1

Available update of the free vector graphics editor Inkscape 1.0.1, which fixes bugs and issues identified in the significant release 1.0. The editor provides flexible drawing tools and supports reading and saving images in SVG, OpenDocument Drawing, DXF, WMF, EMF, sk1, PDF, EPS, PostScript, and PNG formats. Ready builds of Inkscape are prepared for Linux (AppImage, Snap, Flatpak), macOS, and Windows.

The new version has introduced the 'Selectors and CSS' dialog (in the Object menu / 'Selectors and CSS'), which offers an interface for editing document CSS styles and allows selecting all objects associated with a specified CSS selector. This new dialog replaces the 'Selection Sets' tools, which were discontinued in Inkscape 1.0.

Another functional change is the experimental addition for exporting PDF using Scribus, ensuring accurate color reproduction suitable for color printing. Fixes include resolving font recognition issues in the Snap package. The dialogs for adjusting scaling levels, document properties, and scaling have been improved. Enhancements have been made to the 3D-box, eraser, gradients, nodes, pencil, and text addition tools.
