Backups can be saved to locally connected media (USB Flash, CD/DVD, disks) as well as to external partitions accessed via NFS, SSH, FTP, or Samba/CIFS (automatic search for available shared partitions in the local network is performed). Remote management of backups and recovery is supported via VNC or a web interface. Integrity verification of backups using digital signatures is possible. Other features also include the ability to transfer source data to other partitions, selective recovery mode, advanced tools for managing disks and partitions, detailed operation logging, and a web browser and file manager for copying and editing files, along with a collection of utilities for diagnosing failures.
In the new release:
- Preparation for the upgrade to Debian package base 10 has been completed;
- Xfce4-power-manager has been added for power management and screen brightness adjustment;
- Window manager settings have been updated and panel .
- Support for mounting F2FS and exFAT file systems from the GUI has been added.
