The free 3D modeling package Blender 2.93 LTS has been released, which will be the last release in the 2.9x branch. The release has received Long Term Support (LTS) status and will be supported for another two years alongside the launch of seven subsequent releases. The next release, according to the development plan, will be 3.0, work on which has already begun.
In Blender 2.93, the development of the geometry object management system based on a node interface, first proposed in the previous version, has continued. Significant improvements have been made to the tools for static and animated 2D graphics, 3D Grease Pencil graphics, sculpting, and rendering. A number of improvements have been made to the interface aimed at enhancing usability. In particular, a special table editor has been implemented, allowing for convenient control over the parameters assigned to objects.
