Oracle has released a patch for the virtualization system VirtualBox 6.0.12, which notes 17 fixes.

Key changes in the 6.0.12 release:

In the Guest Additions for Linux systems, the issue preventing non-privileged users from creating files inside shared folders has been resolved;
Improved compatibility of Guest Additions for Linux systems
vboxvideo.ko with the kernel module build system;
Resolved kernel module build issues for hosts and guests

In the OCI export function, correct handling of empty disk images is ensured;
In the AC97 audio driver, a workaround has been implemented to support problematic drivers in guest systems that reprogram the sample rate;

Fixed a crash when starting on Windows host systems with programs attempting to inject code into the virtual machine process;
