🥇Release of VirtualBox 6.1.4

Oracle has released a patch for the virtualization system VirtualBox 6.1.4, which notes 17 fixes.

Key changes in version 6.1.4:

In the additions for guest systems based on Linux, support for Linux kernel 5.5 has been added, and an issue accessing disk images mounted via loopback through shared folders has been resolved;
A regression issue introduced in the 6.1 branch that caused problems with the ICEBP instruction on hosts with Intel CPU has been fixed;
The issue of guest systems booting with macOS Catalina after updating to 10.15.2 has been resolved;
GUI localization has been improved;
Isochronous data transfer to the virtual machine has been established for USB when using xHCI USB controllers;
Issues with the serial port buffer handling that led to data reception halting during queue resets have been addressed;
Improved support for serial port passthrough to virtual machines on Windows hosts;
Support for the ‘—clipboard’ option in the VBoxManage command
modifyvm has been reinstated;
A more secure runtime has been implemented on macOS hosts, and osxfuse has been updated (3.10.4);
On Windows hosts, compatibility of shared folders with certain POSIX semantics for file append (O_APPEND) has been improved. The ability to run VMs through Hyper-V has been reinstated;
In the BIOS implementation, readiness marking for non-ATA disks has been ensured, and information about EFI support has been added to the DMI table. The stack size used in INT 10h handlers in VGA BIOS has been reduced.
