The experimental branch of the open-source WinAPI implementation, Wine 6.15, has been released. Since the release of version 6.14, 49 bug reports have been closed and 390 changes have been made.
The most significant changes:
- The WinSock library (WS2_32) has been converted to the PE (Portable Executable) format.
- Support for performance-related counters (HKEY_PERFORMANCE_DATA) has been implemented in the registry.
- New thunks have been added to NTDLL for converting 32-bit system calls to 64-bit.
- Improvements have been made in the C runtime for handling state during floating-point calculations.
- Preparation continues for the implementation of the GDI system call interface.

- Bug reports related to applications have been closed: The Bat!, Windows Movie Maker 2.0, File Encryption 2.1, Windows Double Explorer, Visual Studio 6, eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0, SQL Server Management Studio Express 2008 R2, AOMEI Backupper, Google Earth, MRAC Anti-Cheat (My.Com Warface), DELL BIOS flash utility, BattlEye Anti-Cheat, Waves VST Plugins, DTS Master Audio Suite, ChrisPC Free.
