Cemu is a Nintendo Wii U emulator. It initially developed as a closed project and exclusively for the Windows operating system. However, starting with version 2.0, the source code is available on github.com under the MPLv2 license.
Key Changes:

- Now Cemu can be installed via flatpak from flathub
- macOS support added
- Support for NFC/NTAG added
- Support added Pretendo (OpenSource game servers for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U)

- Cubeb support added for audio (used by default)
- Many fixes related to CafeOS (the internal OS of Nintendo Wii U, which Cemu emulates).
