Released nginx 1.17.9, a new release in the current mainline branch of the nginx web server. Active development is ongoing in the mainline branch, while only bug fixes are being made in the current stable branch (1.16).
- Change: nginx now does not allow multiple 'Host' header lines in requests.
- Fix: nginx ignored additional 'Transfer-Encoding' lines in request headers.
- Fix: socket leaks when using HTTP/2.
- Fix: a segmentation fault could occur in the workflow if OCSP stapling was used.
- Fix: in the ngx_http_mp4_module.
- Fix: when redirecting errors with code 494 using the error_page directive, nginx returned a response with code 494 instead of 400.
- Fix: socket leaks when using subqueries in the njs module and aio directive.
