Idea
In 2017, our team at CARKA began developing a tool for monitoring the entire cyberspace in the national domain zone .KZ, which included about 140,000 websites.
The task was challenging: it was necessary to quickly check each site for signs of hacking and viruses and to present the status dashboard of the entire Kaznet in a convenient format.

We provide our solution to all website owners for free. We generate revenue from solutions for corporate clients who need to monitor a large number of resources (CERT, hosting providers, etc.), and from additional services for website owners (load testing, audits, outsourcing, and help with virus removal, etc.).
The WebTotem product
Over the course of 2 years, our system has grown into a full-fledged platform with 9 modules that are interesting to the average website owner.
You simply register in the system and add your website for monitoring. If you want to install protection modules, you can download a script for your website (Currently, scripts for PHP websites are available in the personal account, and a module for nginx is in the testing phase)
Monitoring modules:
Availability monitoring over a day/week/month;
Checking the installed SSL certificate for validity and expiration date;
Gathering information about the platform on which the website operates (CMS, server OS version, etc.);
Checking for defacement on the website;
Checking the site against reputation databases (VirusTotal, Spamhaus, etc.)
Gathering information about the domain and the expiration date of its registration;
Open port scanner;
Protection modules:
Antivirus — Searching for hacker shells and backdoors on the website
Web Application Firewall — a module designed to detect and block attacks on web applications
WebTotem mobile application
And of course, we want to boast about our mobile application that allows you to monitor and keep an eye on the security of your website via your phone =)

Plans
Currently, the system is used by over 1,000 users, and we monitor about 150,000 websites.
Plans for June:
1) Launch of a plugin for the Plesk panel for web hosting owners
2) A separate plugin for WordPress
3) Publishing a post on Habr about how we developed the infrastructure for monitoring such a large number of websites, including technical details.
