After Microsoft announced the end of support for Windows 10 Mobile last December, updates to the tile interface in Windows 10 were halted. Although the tile interface is supported by third-party applications like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, the menu elements do not display information that could be useful for the user.
If the rumors are true, the Start menu in Windows 10 will soon feature a cluster of inert app and game icons that the user interacts with. The revamped Start menu is expected to resemble the Start menu used in Windows 10X, but the user interface will be adapted for computers. The report states that the new Start menu may appear in one of the future updates.
