The XMPP client Conversations has added support for video calls.

In Conversations, the open XMPP client for the platform Android, a new feature has emerged supports video and audio calls. Calls are available from any XMPP server, provided there is a direct connection (no NAT). Server developers Ejabberd and Prosody are already working on implementing TURN/STUN support on servers to bypass NAT, which indicates the arrival of full video call support in the XMPP network in the coming months. The existing TURN/STUN XMPP extensions were found to be incompatible with hashed passwords and require adjustments.
