The Yandex development team has announced new enhancements for the voice assistant Alice, including support for the Turkish language within its AI service. This is the first release of Yandex's voice assistant in another language, currently available only in the localized version of Yandex.Navigator.
It is reported that in the navigation program for the Turkish market, Alice can do almost everything that the Russian version can. The voice assistant can find a specific address or location and create a route to it, inform users about road conditions, alert them to speed violations, and guide them during trips.
Turkish Alice, like the Russian version, supports casual conversations with users on various topics. "Alice" in Turkish is not a simple translation. All scenarios, including the assistant's responses to different questions, were specifically crafted for Turkey, and the Turkish version is voiced by professional narrator Selay Taşdöğen," says Yandex.
