Version 1.20 of the browser has been released Zen Browser – a fork of Firefox with a sleek design, a focus on privacy, and many additional features.
What's new:
- This update introduces an important new feature called 'Boosts', allowing you to customize the appearance of any website to your liking. To start using Boosts, click on the site control icon in the address bar and the new 'Boost' button.
- Based on the source code of Firefox 151.0 151.0.1.
- Extensions that do not fit in the toolbar will now be displayed under the address bar, rather than being pushed back to control panel the website. This only happens in single sidebar mode.
- In the new version, Zen enhances protection against fingerprint tracking in the 'Standard Enhanced Tracking Protection' feature, making it harder for websites to track your activities across different resources by limiting the amount of information disclosed about your device and browser. This reduces the number of users that can be uniquely identified using common fingerprinting methods by an average of ~14%, and ~49% on macOS.
- You can now merge multiple PDF files directly in Zen PDF without leaving Zen or using third-party tools.
- Improved support for cyclic workspace switching has been added.
- Bugs have been fixed.
