Zimbra is discontinuing the publication of open releases for the new branch

Developers of the collaboration and email package Zimbra, positioned as an alternative to MS Exchange, have changed their open source publishing policy. Starting from the release of Zimbra 9 , the project will stop publishing binary builds of Zimbra Open Source Edition and will focus solely on releasing the commercial version Zimbra Network Edition. Moreover, the developers do not plan to release the source code for Zimbra 9 to the community and will develop Zimbra 9 as a proprietary product. The old branch Zimbra 8.8.15 will remain open and will be supported until December 31, 2024.
