  • For environments running on top of the Hyper-V hypervisor, the compatibility of the RAM management subsystem of guest systems with the HVCI (Hypervisor-Protected Code Integrity) mechanism has been improved.
  • Fixed an issue with loss of input focus in the GUI when using the minibar in full screen mode.
  • In the sound card emulation code, the problem with the creation of an empty debug log when the OSS backend is enabled has been resolved.
  • In the E1000 network adapter emulator, the transfer of information about the state of the link to the Linux kernel has been established.
  • Fixed a regression in silent installation mode that caused a crash on Windows XP and Windows 10 systems.
  • Additions for Solaris host environments fixed a bug in the installer that was causing crashes on Solaris 10, and fixed a bug in the package (the vboxshell.py script was without execute permissions).
  • An issue with incorrect positioning of the mouse cursor in text mode has been resolved in guests.
  • Guest Control improves Unicode handling and resolves issues with copying directories between the host environment and the guest system.
  • The shared clipboard has improved the transfer of HTML content between guests and hosts based on X11 and Windows.
