Against the backdrop of mass protests in Kazakhstan at 17:30 (MSK), a one-time loss of traffic from all fixed and mobile telecom operators was recorded. Starting from yesterday, there were some problems with access, and today the blocking has extended to all autonomous systems (ASN) monitored by Cloudflare, owned by Kazakh providers.

Yesterday's problems mainly affected users of mobile operators such as Tele2 and Kcell, but judging by the decrease in traffic, attempts were made to cut bandwidth instead of blocking. Today's blocking is associated with a complete loss of connectivity for networks, both mobile and fixed operators. In addition to stopping the exchange of data between users, at about the same time as the blocking began, external operators recorded the arrival of BGP announcements with information about the termination of routing in the network of Kazakhstani operators.
