December 15, 2019 marks exactly ten years since the launch - a platform that is currently one of the most popular government web systems in the world.
It is noted that ten years ago, on December 15, 2009, on the day of the official opening, the portal posted information about 110 services at the federal level and more than 200 services at the regional and municipal levels.
Since then the site has been developing rapidly. Today, over 29 thousand services are available in electronic form on the government services portal, and the number of registered users has recently milestone of 100 million people.
Over the past decade, Russian citizens have filled out and sent through the portal more than 325 million electronic applications for government services. It is curious that more than 145 million applications (as of December 2019), or almost half of the indicated number, were submitted in the past year.
The top five most popular services by number of requests include: making an appointment with a doctor (about 60 million), obtaining information about pension savings (over 24 million), registering vehicles (9 million), registering for a kindergarten (more than 7 million), applying for an exam and obtaining a driver's license (6 million).
Along with the development of the portal, the number of payments made by users also increases. Over ten years, 142 million transactions were made for a total amount of over 150 billion rubles. Moreover, this year alone, more than 56 million payments were made for a total amount of over 58 billion rubles.
Let us add that so-called super services are now actively developing within the framework of the platform. These are complex automatic government services, grouped according to typical life situations.
