The plot of the game, which has sold over a million copies, takes place against the backdrop of the historical events of 1403 in the Kingdom of Bohemia, which is part of the Holy Roman Empire. The player will have to avenge the death of his parents and fight against the Polovtsian mercenaries and the troops of the usurper Sigismund I, making decisions that affect the course of events.

In our review, Denis Shchennikov expressed twofold impressions. On the one hand, the game contains an open and changing world, a non-linear story and a deep role-playing system that offers different ways to achieve the goal and makes you take responsibility for your decisions, as well as meticulously recreated authentic environments that most often benefit. On the other hand, the realism of the reconstruction deprives the players of bright and memorable views, the animation is poorly executed, and the CryEngine is used inefficiently; the game needs to be given time to open up, and for this you will have to spend a dozen hours. He also noted a large number of technical problems at the time of the launch of the game (now this is no longer so relevant).
