The SanDisk brand, owned by Western Digital, has begun selling the most capacious microSDXC UHS-I flash memory card: the product is designed to store 1 TB of information.

It was new represented at the beginning of this year during the mobile industry exhibition Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. The card is designed for top-level smartphones, 4K/UHD video recorders and other devices.

The solution complies with the App Performance Class 2 (A2) specification: IOPS (input/output operations per second) for reading and writing is at least 4000 and 2000, respectively.

It is claimed that the card is capable of recording information at speeds of up to 90 MB/s. Reading is performed at the maximum speed for the UHS-I protocol, but in special compatible devices it can reach 160 MB/s.
