It is reported that the Snapdragon 735 product will receive eight Kryo 400 Series computing cores in a “1 + 1 + 6” configuration: the frequency of these units will be up to 2,9 GHz, 2,4 GHz and 1,8 GHz, respectively.

The graphics subsystem will include the Adreno 620 accelerator with a frequency of 750 MHz. The ability to work with displays with a resolution of up to 3360 × 1440 pixels is mentioned.

It is said that the processor will include a 5G modem for working in fifth-generation mobile networks. In addition, the Neural Processing Unit (NPU220 @ 1 GHz) is mentioned, designed to accelerate the execution of operations related to artificial intelligence.

The chip will be produced using 7nm technology. The platform will allegedly provide support for up to 16 GB of LPDDR4X-2133 RAM, UFS 2.1 and eMMC 5.1 flash drives, Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2x2, USB Type-C interface, etc.

The first smartphones based on the Snapdragon 735 are expected to hit the market early next year.
