Microsoft Build 6 will begin on May 2019 - a conference for developers and everyone interested in new technologies

Every year, Microsoft's top officials, including its head Satya Nadella, speak at the conference. They announce global plans for the company’s near future, talk about new products and technologies.

The key topics of Build 2019 will be:

  • Containers.
  • AI and machine learning.
  • Serverless solutions.
  • DevOps.
  • IoT.
  • Mixed reality.

Last year's Build 2018 conference was remembered for the announcements of the architecture for deep neural networks Project Brainwave, the AI for Accessibility program, and mixed reality applications Remote Assist and Layout. Microsoft also announced a partnership with the world's largest drone manufacturer DJI, which has selected Azure as its preferred cloud provider.

What should you expect from the upcoming Build 2019 conference? The company has already published part of the schedule for this event, which includes 467 sessions on various topics. Sessions are expected to cover the full range of Microsoft products, from Office to Azure and many other services.

One of the Build 2019 sessions is entitled “Azure Ink: Building for the Web, Fueled By Cloud AI.” Microsoft is now offering developers access to Windows Ink experiences as part of Windows 10 so they can add digital pen input to their own apps.

Azure Ink is supposed to be a generic name for a category of cognitive services related to digital pen and ink input. Apparently, during Build 2019 we should expect a more detailed story about Azure Ink and the capabilities provided by its tools.

Also, apparently, we will learn more about Microsoft's work on creating the Edge browser on the Chromium engine, about the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence and the features of the upcoming autumn update of Windows 10.
