Following the GeForce GTX 1660 and GTX 1660 Ti video cards, next month NVIDIA should introduce the youngest graphics accelerator of the Turing generation - the GeForce GTX 1650. In addition, mobile versions of the GeForce GTX video cards can also be presented in April along with the desktop GeForce GTX 1650 16th series. In any case, laptop manufacturers are already preparing new items based on the younger representatives of the Turing generation.
We already wrote about ASUS laptops that combine GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics cards and AMD Ryzen 3000 processors. Now, a new version of the Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop, codenamed AN515-54-53Z2, has appeared in the well-known European price aggregator Geizhals, which uses not yet presented video card GeForce GTX 1650.
The description of the GeForce GTX 1650 graphics accelerator confirms that the new product will be able to offer 4 GB of GDDR5 memory. Unfortunately, other characteristics of the video card are not specified. Most likely, it will be built on the Turing TU117 GPU, which will have 1280 or 1024 CUDA cores. The mobile version will traditionally differ from the desktop version by lower frequencies.
Another new version of the Acer Nitro 5 laptop will be able to offer a new Core i5-9300H processor, which belongs to the recently announced ninth generation of Core-H (Coffee Lake Refresh) processors. This chip will offer four cores and eight threads, and its clock speeds will be 2,4 / 4,3 GHz. Also, the laptop will be equipped with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB solid state drive. Like the previous Nitro 5, the novelty will receive a 15,6-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution (1920 Γ 1080 pixels).
The cost of the Acer Nitro 5 version with Core i5-9300H processor and GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card has not yet been specified, but it is expected to be around 1000 euros, and this laptop will go on sale in April or May. In addition, Acer laptops with GeForce GTX 1660 and GTX 1660 Ti graphics cards, as well as other ninth generation Intel Core-H processors, can be expected to appear soon.
