Published statistical report from AdDuplex, which analyzed the market condition and share of the Windows 10 operating system for February 2020. According to the report, Windows 10 November 2019 Update (version 1909) takes up 22,6%, which is 7,4% more than a month earlier.

According to the source, the most active users who are switching to the new OS are those who have installed Windows 10 October 2018 Update (1809). At the same time, Windows 10 May 2019 Update (1903) is still in the lead. Its share is 52,6%, but this number is clearly already peak. After all, it is already declining - 0,5% less than January figures. In general, the global share of Windows 10 1903 and 1909 is 75,5%. That is, three-quarters of Windows 10-based computers are running the 2019 version.

Note that after termination support for Windows 7, the overall market share of the “ten” has increased. This also contributed to emergence the first public beta of Windows 10X. Although these versions have had numerous problems with updates, it seems that there is simply no alternative to this.

Despite all the calls, users are more willing to switch to new builds of the “tens” than to Linux. After all, many games still run poorly under a free OS, especially AAA-class projects, which is why these systems are not considered by many in principle.
