As part of the Summer Game Fest, the creators of two parts of the excellent meditative puzzle Monument Valley presented their next project - Alba: A Wildlife Adventure. At the same time, the studio Ustwo Games has released a short video that gives an idea of how the game will look like.
Alba: A Wildlife Adventure is dedicated to environmental issues. “In small hands lies the fate of our future,” reads the description. “Help Alba and Inez start a movement and change the world!”
The above video shows a squirrel and, obviously, one of the main characters - a girl who defiantly looks from a hillock at the landscape around, surrounded by newspapers, notebooks, books and other things like a camera, a sandwich, pens and a bottle of water - in general, everything that fit in her small briefcase.
This will be the first game from Ustwo to be released on consoles alongside PC and Apple devices (iOS, macOS, tvOS announced). The London-based studio received widespread critical acclaim for its Monument Valley series, which followed Whale Trail's first mobile hit.
The studio's latest project was a game for Apple Arcade - 2019. In our recent review, Alexander Babulin was very pleased with the game, calling it a breath of fresh air, and noted only too short duration as shortcomings.
