This year, the company plans to attract 100 bloggers to use the newly launched AliExpress Connect service. In three years, the number of bloggers using this platform should increase to 000 million people. This strategy is designed to develop business in Europe, including Russia, France, Spain and Poland, countries where the AliExpress platform is especially popular. As such, Alibaba is looking to replicate the success achieved by using a similar strategy for the Taobao platform, AliExpress's counterpart in the Chinese market.

Recall that the AliExpress Connect platform is a platform for verified bloggers who want to monetize the content they create. Within the platform, brands will place tasks for bloggers to create reviews of certain products, for which a reward is provided. To work on the platform, a blogger needs to have at least 5000 subscribers, and a store needs a high user rating.

β€œFor both Taobao and AliExpress, social content is a way to diversify offerings without generating revenue. The goal is to accumulate users, keep them there, and encourage them to stay active,” said Yuan Yuan, head of AliExpress Influencers.

Popular bloggers can register on the AliExpress Connect platform using TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other social networks. After that, they can interact with sellers, receiving tasks from them related to the promotion of any goods or services.
