An update to the AliveColors graphic editor from a Perm company has been released AKVIS. This is a multifunctional graphic editor that contains many tools and settings for creating and editing images, includes a collection of effects, neural filters, a library of presets and textures, as well as a set of built-in AKVIS plugins and some other developments of the company. The first release of the program took place on July 4, 2017.

The AliveColors program is available in three versions: a free version Free and Home (4800 rubles) and Business (14742 rubles) licenses. For educational institutions, the prices for the Business license are reduced.

To install and update the program, the developers have prepared repositories for the Alt, Astra, RedOS, and ROSA distributions. Debian, OpenSUSE, RedHat, Ubuntu and the Flatpak package manager. The program is also available for Windows and MacOS.

In the new version:

  • Improved neural networks for the "Object Selection" and "Select Item" tools.
  • The "Refine selection edges" function has been redesigned.
  • Added "Color Replacement" adjustment.
  • Added support for brushes in ABR format.
  • On the menu File Added the function "Save layers to files".
  • Added "Texture Fill" effect.
  • Added selection modification commands.
  • Added the ability to call the "Save for Web" dialog using the key combination Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S.
  • Tool icons have been redesigned.
  • The "Enlarged tool buttons" option has been added to the program settings.
  • Minor interface improvements have been made.
  • Improved stability and fixed bugs.
