Allwinner, according to online sources, will soon announce at least four processors for mobile devices - primarily for tablets.
In particular, the announcement of Allwinner A50, Allwinner A100, Allwinner A200 and Allwinner A300/A301 chips is being prepared. To date, detailed information is available only on the first of these products.
The Allwinner A50 processor will receive four ARM Cortex-A7 cores with a clock speed of up to 1,8 GHz and a Mali400 MP2 graphics accelerator with support for OpenGL ES 2.0 / 1.1, Direct3D 11.1, OpenVG 1.1. The chip will provide the ability to use DDR4 / DDR3 / DDR3L / LPDDR3 / LPDDR4 RAM, eMMC 5.0 flash memory, displays with resolutions up to Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels), etc. It is said to be compatible with the Android 8.1 operating system and higher.
The Allwinner A100 processor, in turn, will presumably use ARM Cortex-A55 computing cores. As for the Allwinner A200 and Allwinner A300/A301 solutions, they are credited with having ARM Cortex A7x/A5x cores.
Thus, new chips will allow creating devices of different levels for different price categories. The official announcement of processors is expected later this year.
