The announcement of the updated processors AMD Ryzen 3000 generation Matisse Refresh should take place this week. The updated series will include three chips: Ryzen 9 3900XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT and Ryzen 5 3600XT. As it turned out, they will not replace the current variants with the "X" suffix, but will be sold at their current price. The cost of "old" processors, in turn, will be reduced by up to $50, depending on the model.

As VideoCardz points out, the recommended cost of the Ryzen 9 3900X model after the announcement of the XT version will drop to $449 ($50), the Ryzen 7 3800X chip will drop in price to $359 (minus $40). The cost of the younger Ryzen 5 3600X will drop by $25 to $224.
In addition, on the official website of MSI about new processors that are compatible with motherboards based on AMD B550 logic. As it turned out, the base frequency of all three updated XT-variants of the processors will be the same as that of the regular X-versions.

The AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT model has 12 cores and 24 threads. Its base frequency is 3,8 GHz. In auto overclocking mode, it rises to 4,7 GHz. Thus, the increase is only 100 MHz compared to the conventional X-variant. The value of the TPD level of the new processor is the same as that of the regular version - 105 watts.
The Ryzen 7 3800XT processor will offer eight cores and sixteen threads. The base frequency is 3,9 GHz, in auto overclocking mode - 4,7 GHz. The increase compared to the conventional model is 200 MHz. The TDP level is the same - 105 watts.
The base frequency of the younger six-core Ryzen 5 3600XT chip is 3,8 GHz - the same as the regular version. In auto overclocking mode, it rises to 4,5 GHz - 100 MHz higher than the previous version. The declared TDP level is the same as that of the regular model - 95 watts.
Matisse Refresh series chips are expected to be available from July 7th. The announcement of updated processors is expected today or tomorrow.
