AMD has released the first October Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.10.1 driver. Its main purpose is to support the new AMD Radeon RX 5500 desktop and mobile graphics cards. In addition, the developers have added optimizations for the new GRID racing simulator. Finally, it is worth noting the presence of WHQL certification.
In addition to the changes mentioned above, the following fixes have also been made:
- Borderlands 3 crashes or freezes when running in DirectX 12;
- lighting artifacts in Borderlands 3 when using DirectX 12;
- display artifacts on some displays at 75Hz when using Radeon RX 5700 graphics;
- Radeon FreeSync 2 capable displays do not enable HDR if HDR is enabled via Windows on a Radeon RX 5700 PC.
- Black flickering on some displays when Radeon FreeSync is running in idle or desktop mode.
Work continues on fixing existing issues:
- Radeon RX 5700 GPUs lose display when resuming from sleep mode or hibernate when multiple displays are connected;
- Enabling HDR causes system instability during gaming while running the Radeon ReLive utility.

Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.10.1 WHQL can be downloaded on Windows 64 or Windows 7 10-bit versions from both , or from the Radeon Settings menu. It is dated October 17 and is intended for video cards and integrated graphics of the Radeon HD 7000 family and above.
