Bethesda Softworks has announced that RAGE 2 has gone to press. On May 14, the game on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 will hit store shelves around the world.

“A little less than a year ago, the Canadian division of Walmart announced the release of RAGE 2 ... Hehe, this joke will not fizzle out soon,” the company recalled about leak on the Walmart website, due to which the announcement of RAGE 2 became known in advance. A year before the release of the game, on May 14, 2018, id Software, Avalanche Studios and Bethesda Softworks officially presented video project with music by Andrew W.K. (Andrew WK). Less than two weeks before the release, the developers were reminded of the technical features of RAGE 2 on consoles and PC. The project will run on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at 1080p with a frame rate cap of 30 fps. On Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro, performance has been increased to 60 fps. There are no frame rate limits on PC.

Minimum PC configuration:

  • OS: Windows 7, 8.1, 10 (64-bit);
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3570 3,4 GHz or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X 3,5 GHz;
  • RAM: 8 GB;
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 3 GB or AMD R9 280 3 GB;
  • Disk space: 50 GB.

Recommended PC configuration:

  • OS: Windows 7, 8.1, 10 (64-bit);
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 3,4GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X 3,6GHz;
  • RAM: 8 GB;
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB or AMD Vega 56 8 GB;
  • Disk space: 50 GB.

Additional graphics options:

  • field of view (from 50 to 120 degrees);
  • interface display (yes/no);
  • crosshair style (default/simplified/none);
  • motion blur (yes/no);
  • depth of field (yes/no);
  • support for Ultra-wide (21:9) and Super Ultra-wide (32:9) monitors (PC).
