The Taiwanese resource Economic Daily reported on Apple's plans to release an updated 2020-inch iPhone based on the iPhone 4,7 smartphone in the spring of 8.
Speaking about the specifications of the new smartphone, the resource called the "A13" processor, which is expected to be used in the flagship 2019 iPhone models, 128 GB of flash memory and a camera with a single module. In order to reduce the price of the new model, the company will drop support for Face ID and the TrueDepth camera array. While the offer looks potentially attractive, analysts say it's not the best idea.
As for the processor, Apple took a similar approach with the iPhone SE, using the A9 processor found in the iPhone 6s, released six months before its announcement.
