Apple has updated the firmware of AirPods Pro wireless headphones

At the moment, it is not known exactly what changes Apple developers have made to the headphone software. Previously, some AirPods users complained about problems with the active noise cancellation system, so it can be assumed that the 2D15 firmware is designed to solve them.

The source notes that there is no clear way to update the firmware, since it is distributed through the air. Obviously, to increase the likelihood of receiving updates quickly, you need to connect the headphones to a power source and sync with your iPhone or iPad. You can check the current firmware version in the settings menu when the headphones are paired with any iOS device.

Recall that Apple started distributing firmware 2C54 back in December last year, but later the process was stopped. Some users managed to get the firmware of this version, while others continue to use headphones with firmware 2B588. AirPods Pro firmware updates often include performance improvements, bug fixes, and feature tweaks. What exactly the 2D15 firmware includes is currently unknown. Users of the standard AirPods should not expect a software update just yet.
