April update Elite Dangerous will lower the barrier to entry

Starting April 23, Elite Dangerous, which has not the lowest entry threshold, will be more comfortable for new players - starting zones will appear. In these areas, novice space explorers will be able to safely move around space, learn how to control, complete tasks, and other aspects of the simulator's gameplay. In addition, there will be introductory missions and hints, additional information in the codex, and players will be able to buy equipment cheaper than usual. Some indulgences will only apply until the pilot reaches the first combat, trade or research rank.

April update Elite Dangerous will lower the barrier to entry

Earlier, Frontier Developments announced the biggest update in Elite Dangerous history. Due to its scale, developers need a lot of time to implement. The release is scheduled for the second half of 2020.

Elite Dangerous is available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
