The Association of Film Companies demanded to block the developer of the Blamo Kodi repository on GitHub

Followed by blocking Popcorn Time repository, Motion Picture Association (MPA) and Amazon under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) demanded GitHub disable user account MrBlamo6969, which supports the "Blamo" repository and the "Chocolate Salty Balls" add-on for the Kodi media center. GitHub did not completely block the account, but blocked repository Blamo.

The Chocolate Salty Balls add-on allowed you to watch comedy shows on Kodi, and many popular add-ons were distributed through Blamo, including Neptune Rising and Placenta for watching movies and TV shows. It should be noted that attempts to block Blamo have been made since 2018, and in January 2019, the MPA obtained a decision in the Federal Court of Canada to suspend the account of the maintainer of the repository, accused of committing acts that contribute to copyright infringement.

The MPA sent requests to the defendant to comply with an injunction ordering MrBlamo to stop hosting, distributing and promoting infringing add-ons and repositories for Kodi. The last such request was sent on December 19, 2019, but was ignored, so MPA has now sent a request to GitHub, but it is only partially completed so far - the repository is locked, but the account continues to be active.

Addendum: GitHub blocked repository RDP Wrapper Library program, violation of the terms of use of the service was named as the reason. The RDP Wrapper Library allows you to activate the disabled, but actually present, RDP (Remote Desktop Host) protocol server handler in Windows, and also removes the restriction on the simultaneous connection of several clients to one computer, which violates the Windows Home license agreement.
