ASUS has announced a five-year warranty extension for ProArt Display PA and PQ series monitors purchased in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The ProArt family monitors are designed for professional media creation, including video editing, 3D design, photo editing, image processing, and more. All members of the family have a set of options that allow you to perform various creative tasks. These devices were among the first to receive the new DisplayHDR 1.1 certification. This standard, recently introduced by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA), has even more stringent requirements for brightness and color space coverage.
ASUS has designed the ProArt series of products specifically to help media creators bring their creative ideas to life. ProArt Display monitors feature innovative features such as mini-LED backlighting, OLED, ASUS Smart HDR with Dolby Vision, HDR-10, HLG HDR, and more. These monitors are also characterized by the highest color accuracy.
For graphic artists, photographers, and other media creators, a monitor is an essential working tool. If earlier ProArt series monitors were supplied with a three-year warranty, now ASUS has decided to extend the warranty period for ProArt Display models of the PA and PQ series to five years. This warranty will be available with the purchase and registration of a ProArt Display PA or PQ series monitor in Europe, the Middle East and Africa starting May 5, 2020. The extended warranty period also applies to ProArt Display PA and PQ series monitors purchased after January 1, 2020, but will require registration.
