The official premiere of ASUS Zenfone 6 will take place a week later, on May 16, in the Spanish city of Valencia, but a representative of the Taiwanese company shared some details about the novelty with the public before this event. Some time ago, the head of the international marketing department of ASUS Marcel Campos (Marcel Campos) published an unusual message in his Instagram account, presented in the form of Morse code. In it, he, according to the media, conveyed information about the three key characteristics of the Zenfone 6 - the processor, the main camera and the battery.
If we convert the message from a sequence of dots and dashes to Latin, we get the following text: "LIGUEPARA855-4813-5000EFALECOMSTEPHANPANTOLOMEUEDUARDOCAMPOSSILVA". The letter part can be discarded, and then the numbers 855, 4813 and 5000 remain. It is easy to guess that 855 is a model of the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which is the hardware platform of the new ASUS flagship, which we already know from earlier rumors.
This is followed by the number 4813, where 48 is most likely the resolution of the main rear camera module in megapixels. The fact that Zenfone 6 is equipped with such a sensor also became known from information leaks. Accordingly, 13 indicates the presence of a 13-megapixel additional sensor.
But the most interesting thing concerns the last figure - 5000. The only suitable version is that we are talking about battery capacity. If this assumption is confirmed, then Zenfone 6 will become the second smartphone with a Snapdragon 3 processor after Nubia Red Magic 855, which will receive such a capacious battery.

Three of them are of the greatest interest - a mysterious smart button on the right side, located above the lock and volume keys (perhaps it will activate the voice assistant), separate slots for SIM cards and microSD memory cards, as well as 3,5 mm an audio jack that many other flagship manufacturers were quick to abandon.
But most of the details about the design of the Zenfone 6 were told by the Spanish-language YouTube channel SupraPixel, which claims in a video posted on May 9 that it received a pre-final prototype of the smartphone at its disposal. The main news is that the sixth generation of the ASUS flagship is not a monoblock, like its predecessors, but a dual slider. It is called double due to the fact that the lower half of the body moves both up and down. At the top, access to the dual front camera with two flashes opens up, and an additional touch screen is found at the bottom. This design could already be seen over a month ago in one of the renders provided by renowned leak hunter Evan Blass (@evleaks). Also in the video, we see a fingerprint scanner on the back of the prototype, which means that the screen sensor is not provided in it.
According to unofficial information from China, ASUS Zenfone 6 will go on sale in three versions, differing in the amount of RAM and flash memory and, accordingly, in cost. The base version will be 6/128 GB at a price of $645, for $775 it will be possible to purchase the 8/256 GB version, and the top-end configuration of 12/512 GB will cost the buyer $970.
