Publisher Devolver Digital announced a new project - a comedy hooligan simulator Sludge Life from the creator of High Hell Terry Vellmann and the composer of Enter the Gungeon under the pseudonym Doseone.
Sludge Life is being developed for PC (Epic Games Store) and Nintendo Switch. The project is planned to be released this spring, but The Epic Games digital store has a specific date - April 8th.
The authors themselves describe Sludge Life as “an exploration (from a first-person perspective in an open world with elements of vandalism) of a strange island full of unpredictable weirdos, in an atmosphere so thick you can taste it.”
In Sludge Life, players take on the role of nicknamed Ghost, who wants to “defend his position among the graffiti elite.” It will be possible to achieve the set goals by creating various kinds of outrages.
The developers promise a non-linear plot (the game is expected to have “three great endings and good credits”), as well as the opportunity to become the king of the island and “make the most of every centimeter.”

Among other things, Slug Life features a "special fart button," the ability to download apps to your in-game laptop, smoke cigarettes, and take photos of exotic fauna, including a "cat with two butts."
In addition to Slug Life, Terry Wellmann and Doseone, along with two other indie developers, are working on a sci-fi action puzzle game for PC (this time Steam) and consoles.
