Resource Autocar, referring to the statements of the chief designer of Audi Marc Lichte (Marc Lichte), reports that we are talking about a car that will be comparable in size to the model Audi A4.

It is noted that the future electric car will be based on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture, in the development of which specialists from Porsche and Audi took part. This platform will form the basis of Audi's range of electric vehicles, from mass B-class models to D-segment vehicles.

Technical characteristics of the future sedan have not yet been disclosed. In the commercial market, Audi's new product will have to compete with the "people's" Tesla Model 3 electric car. The brand intends to announce an electric sedan with four rings in 2023.

We add that by 2025, Audi will introduce twelve all-electric models for key markets around the world. At the same time, about a third of the brand's total sales will be electrified versions of the cars of the existing range. Electric vehicles will be present in all key segments, from compact models to business class vehicles.
