Libreboot Author Defends Richard Stallman

Leah Rowe, founder of the Libreboot distribution and a well-known minority rights activist, despite past conflicts with the Free Software Foundation and Stallman, has publicly defended Richard Stallman against recent attacks. Leah Rowe believes that the organized witch hunt is organized by people who ideologically oppose free software, and is directed not only at Stallman himself, but at the entire Free Software movement and the FSF in particular.

According to Leah, true social justice is a decent attitude towards a person, and not when they try to delete him just because of his beliefs. The message also, using a personal example of communication, refuted the arguments of critics about Stallman's sexism and transphobia and suggested that all recent attacks are nothing more than an attempt to infiltrate and subjugate the FSF organization under the control of large corporations, as has already happened with OSI and the Linux Foundation .

Meanwhile, the number of signatories of the open letter in support of Stallman collected 4660 signatures, while the letter against Stallman was signed by 2984 people.
